Trump White House scoffs at activist judge’s order demanding return of reported gang thug

The latest attempt from a judicial activist attempting to reverse a deportation was met with a snarky reality check from the White House on “jurisdiction.”

Fully embracing the America last agenda that had come to prominence under then-President Joe Biden’s tenure, the left continued to go all-in on putting illegal aliens ahead of citizens. On top of the Democratic Party’s lawsuit seeking to block President Donald Trump’s election integrity executive order, an Obama-appointed “Marxist judge” was called out for overreach following her order demanding an alleged MS-13 gang member be returned to the United States no later than Monday.

Friday, U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis of Maryland ordered the Trump administration to return El Salvador-born Kilmar Abrego Garcia to the United States by April 7 after he had been booted, along with scores of gang members of MS-13 and Tren de Aragua, to his home country’s Terrorism Confinement Center (CECOT).

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt’s statement responding to Xinis came courtesy of deputy press secretary Harrison Fields, who posted to X Friday afternoon, “We suggest the Judge contact President @nayibbukele because we are unaware of the judge having jurisdiction or authority over the country of El Salvador.”

As part of an agreement with El Salvador President Nayib Bukele, the Trump administration deported two flights’ worth of illegal aliens to CECOT by invoking the 1798 Alien Enemies Act, prompting a lawsuit and attempted restraining order from U.S. District Judge James Boasberg.

At the time, Bukele had responded to the order that demanded the flights be turned around when they were already said to have been over international waters by posting on X, “Oopsie…Too late.”

Friday, he let a GIF do his talking for him in response to Xinis’ overreaching yet wholly believable order. Likewise, White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller contended, “Marxist judge now thinks she’s president of El Salvador.”

Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs Tricia McLaughlin joined Fox News Friday and maintained the administration’s position that, “He’s not some Maryland father as the mainstream media will make you believe. He’s actually a member of MS-13 and was involved in human trafficking.”

“It’s unbelievable, the framing of this. Whether this man is in El Salvador or in a U.S. detention center, he should be locked up and people should also know who MS-13 is. It is a gang that rapes, maims and kills Americans for sport,” she told host Martha MacCallum. “They should not be on U.S. soil. And any media outlet who tries to make him a darling or a victim should really be ashamed, because the American people do know better.”

As legal challenges to the administration’s deportation efforts appeared destined for the Supreme Court, social media users continued to revel in the official nose-thumbing at judicial activists.
