INSIDER: Euros’ use of new fascist censorship law on Musk merits strong response

A showdown between the United States and resurgent European fascism could be coming up fast, according to reports that the EU will hit Elon Musk’s X platform with severe penalties under its new Orwellian anti-free speech law, the Digital Services Act.

The New York Times reported that authoritarian Eurocrats are preparing to wallop the “free speech absolutist” and DOGE chief with a fine in excess of $1 billion, the first time that the DSA will be deployed against American-based social media platforms as the continent goes back to the future, drawing inspiration from the Nazis and communists for its governing philosophy.

According to the Times – which has its own distaste for free speech – EU regulators in Brussels determined to force Musk to bow to their tyrannical demands to censor voices on the platform, the theft could surpass $1 billion “as regulators seek to make an example of X to deter other companies from violating the law,” a law that will also clamp down on Americans who could soon be silenced on the whims of the unelected fascists in Brussels.

“The X investigation has been closely watched as the first major attempt to enforce the Digital Services Act, which requires companies to better police their platforms and to provide adequate transparency about how their services work. The law has become a point of contention in a trans-Atlantic debate about free speech, with Vice President JD Vance in February likening E.U. regulation to digital censorship,” the paper reported.

The once-esteemed “newspaper of record,” which relied on an the typical array of unnamed sources, said that the Euros had backed off on their Musk hunt after Trump’s election but as it became clearer that they would no longer be able to take advantage of the U.S. on trade, “authorities decided to press ahead.”

The Times broke the news on the day after Trump’s “Liberation Day,” unveiling of his tariffs which sock it to the EU to the tune of 20 percent and the reinvigorated persecution of Musk for allowing free speech on X is a clear escalation by the body which has subverted the will of people, ushering in a new era of darkness and repression across the continent and if they have their way, in America as well.

It is a brazen and lawless attack on a U.S. company by an anti-Democratic bloc that stands for censorship, controlling elections,  jailing opposition leaders, and war, in short, the same things that Hitler once did. And given enough leeway, they will go even further, which is why a strong response is merited if the Euro-fascists follow through on their plans to stomp their jackboots on Musk from across the pond.

Republican Senator Mike Lee called for such a measure against Musk to be met with a U.S. withdrawal from NATO, leaving the bloodsucking chiselers on their own against the Russian military powerhouse, which would pulverize the bullies’ weak sister armies that have been propped up by American taxpayers since the end of World War II.

Other than the Utah senator, congressional Republicans have been mostly silent on the foreign menace to free speech; they’re too busy sabotaging Trump over his tariffs.

If the Euros do drop their jackboot on Musk, pulling out of NATO should only be a start against a regime that has become an enemy to freedom and no longer has any investment in maintaining traditional Western values. Up the tariffs, let them choke on their wine.
