President Trump Is Still Aiming To Unite PGA, LIV

President Trump is still in the PGA x LIV mix!

LIV Golf is holding a tournament at President Donald Trump‘s resort in Doral, with things kicking off Friday, Apr. 4. Beforehand, they welcomed Trump during his arrival late Thursday. During so, he gave us thoughts on Air Force One about the current situation with LIV and the PGA Tour, and said he hopes to unite the two brands and end the tension.

“Ultimately, hopefully, the two tours are going to merge. That’ll be good. I’m involved in that too,” said Trump, per The Independent. (RELATED: The 2025 Masters Was Simulated 1,000 Times By Supercomputer — Here’s Who Won The Green Jacket)

Hosting LIV tournaments before on his properties and speaking with both the Saudi-backed circuit and PGA, the president remains positive about uniting the two sides.

“But hopefully we’re going to get the two tours to merge,” added Trump. “You have the PGA Tour and the LIV Tour. And I think having them merge would be a great thing.”

I’m fine with whatever happens with this entire situation.

I like the swagger of the PGA, I like the swagger of LIV, I like having both around. I also like having the special tournaments where both meet up on the same course, it’s pretty cool to witness when it’s limited like that. But at the same time, I wouldn’t mind seeing all of golf’s stars in the same league, brawling it out for who’s going to be the king.

Let the best side win, but I’m good either way.
