Gargantuan Alligator Spotted On Kiawah Ocean Course, And Quite Frankly, Dinosaurs Are Still Amongst Us

I’ve seen alligators living in Florida, but nothing this big.

When it comes to the most iconic golf courses in the United States, the Kiawah Ocean Course in South Carolina is definitely in the conversation. And it’s worth every penny considering players get to golf on the exact course that played host to PGA Championships that have been won by types such as Phil Mickelson and Rory McIlroy. But that’s not the only thing that Kiawah golfers get to experience — they also happen to see dinosaur-sized alligators.

A video, which is now going viral, shared by “Top 100 Courses” superstar Rick Golfs shows a massive alligator strolling along the Kiawah Ocean Course. And holy hell, what a sight this is.

I’ve always wanted to golf at Kiawah, and though I’ve been to the Carolinas plenty of times, I’ve never been able to make the trip. Well, after this behemoth of a monster, I need to head on up there — and stat.
