Female College Rower Who Identifies As Male Still Chooses To Participate In Women’s Sports

What an interesting situation we have here…

Let me introduce you to Cillian Mullen, a University of Washington junior who is a member of the women’s rowing team. (RELATED: Nevada’s Schools Ban Biological Males From Female Sports In Huge Switch-Up For State)

A biological female, Mullen identifies as a transgender male. This is reflected on the Instagram account of Mullen, who has “he/him” pronouns on the page. The governing body of the United States, USRowing wrote on social media about Mullen, and they used the trans athlete’s pronouns in the post.

And to make it crazier, the post says that “he” (referring to Mullen) is involved in women’s rowing. Yes, you read that correctly.

Technically, Mullen isn’t violating any kind of rule or law when it comes to competition. After all, Mullen is a biological female. But you can’t help but to wonder why Mullen still chooses to be in the women’s division when Mullen identifies as a male.

And social media asked away…

I actually have no problem with what Mullen is doing, but it does give off the impression that Mullen knows that “he” would lose against biological men, which further backs our narrative — the correct narrative.

It’s unfair for men to compete against women. Point, blank, period.
