Bantor surrounding a possible third term for Donald Trump has been circulating, and the U.S. president isn’t shying away from the buzz.
“You know, a lot of people would like me to do that,” Trump teased on Sunday. “There are, there are methods which you could do it, as you know.”
On Monday, Trump was pressed further on the subject when FOX News reporter Peter Doocy asked the president about a possible presidential contender.
“If you are allowed – for some reason – to run for a third term, is there a thought that the Democrats could try to run Barack Obama against you?” Doocy asked while visiting the Oval Office
“I’d love that,” Trump responded. “That would be a good one. I’d like that. No, people are asking me to run. And there’s a whole story about running for a third term. I don’t know. I never looked into it. They do say there’s a way you can do it, but I don’t know about that. But I have not looked into it.”

President Franklin D. Roosevelt served four terms, prompting the 22nd Amendment’s ratification in 1951, which states a U.S. president is only allowed two terms.
A third term would require a constitutional amendment, which would require a two-thirds vote in both the House and Senate, plus ratification by 38 states.
It’s extremely unlikely that Trump could run for a third term. But, that’s not going to stop America’s “favorite president” from sending leftists and their media minions into eternal meltdowns.
As legal expert Jonathan Turley explained: Trump “loves to give a snake in the can to the media just to watch them open it.”

Although some longed to see an epic showdown between Trump and Obama:
Trump vs. Obama in a third term showdown would be a political cage match for the ages, two heavyweights with unfinished business. Trump’s itching for it, honestly, Obama’s cool-headed jab would make it a hell of a fight. America deserves that spectacle.

I’m down to undo the term limit just for this heavyweight fight

The debates alone would be worth it
