Tim Walz’ Daughter Rejects Grad School for Not Backing Radical Protesters [WATCH]

Another privileged liberal protestor is refusing to support an American university — and this time, it’s the daughter of a Democrat governor.

As reported by The New York Post, Hope Walz, daughter of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, made waves on TikTok over the weekend by announcing she’s skipping graduate school. The reason? Her chosen institution didn’t back student protesters enough for her liking.

Demonstrators call for the release of Mahmoud Khalil, a former Columbia University graduate student detained by federal immigration agents, outside the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement building in New York City on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. At the nearby federal courthouse, Khalil’s lawyers planned to petition U.S. District Court Judge Jesse M. Furman for Khalil’s return from a Louisiana detention facility where he is being held while fighting possible deportation.

Walz, who openly admitted she only applied to one school, complained that the university failed to protect “students and the right to protest.” She refused to name the school but made her stance clear: if an institution doesn’t fully endorse protest culture — even when it turns hostile — she’s not handing over her tuition dollars.

“Students deserve to be protected. I am not worried about if I were to be protected or not at said institution. I am, you know, a privileged white woman. But I am not going to put myself in the position where I am giving money or supporting institutions that don’t support their students.”

Elon Musk Called This Financial News ‘Terrifying’

So, to be clear — a young woman who acknowledges her “privileged” background is now boycotting higher education over a school not giving protesters a free pass to disrupt campus life without consequences. This is peak left-wing entitlement wrapped in social justice lingo.

Hope’s virtue-signaling moment comes as many universities try to regain control of their campuses following a wave of anti-Israel protests, vandalism, and rising antisemitism.

One of the protesters who took over Hamilton Hall at Columbia University waves a Palelestinian flag from the roof of the building April 30, 3034, as hundreds of protesters cheered from the street below.

Schools like Columbia University have become ground zero for these extremist displays, where mobs of masked agitators seized buildings and threatened Jewish students — all under the pretense of “free speech.”

President Donald Trump’s administration took swift action, warning Columbia and others that federal funding could be pulled if changes weren’t made. The result?

Columbia had to implement real reform: banning identity-concealing masks, appointing oversight roles to better handle Middle Eastern studies departments, and hiring 36 new campus officers with actual authority to arrest students causing chaos.

The final straw came when NYPD officers raided Columbia’s Hamilton Hall in 2024 after a violent standoff with protestors. That moment finally woke up the administration, which had been bending over backward to avoid offending radical activists.

But while real leadership steps in to clean up these messes, the next generation of leftist elites — like Hope Walz — are too busy pouting online, demanding more chaos and less accountability. If anything, her protest highlights exactly why American universities are in the mess they’re in today.
