Liberal comedian Bill Maher says it’s looking like “game over” for the Democrat Party as blue states are slated to lose congressional seats.
People are voting with their feet, leaving Democrat strongholds like California and New York for the freedom of Republican-majority lands like Idaho and Texas. There is so much migration, in fact, that it is impacting the congressional makeup of these states in what is essentially a sign that the Democrat Party has one foot in the grave.
Watch:
Bill Maher says it’s over for the Democrat Party. So many people are fleeing Blue States they’re about to lose Congressional seats
“This looks like game over”

“California’s projected to lose three seats, New York two. Also going to lose a seat, Minnesota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Illinois, all blue states,” Maher said. “Who’s getting these [seats]? Texas, Florida, Idaho and Utah. I mean this looks like game over, you know, and the reason why people are voting with their feet is … Taxes and regulation. I’ve certainly been screaming about it forever. I did three years with a sign here saying how long is it going to take to get my solar hooked up. Three years.”
“I just put in a roof because the fires I thought ‘Oh, let’s get a roof that’s not gonna burn up.’ Two inspections. Why are you inspecting my roof? It’s my f**king roof,” he continued to applause from the audience. “If it falls on me, that’s my problem.”
“And we’re taxed more than any other state. People are leaving these kinds of states for places where they’re not feeling the heavy breath of government on them. It’s not that hard for Democrats to understand this, but they seem to be incapable of doing anything about it.”
X users cautioned against Republicans celebrating too early:
One reality I’ve witnessed is just because they come to a red state does not mean they vote red and could potentially add a blue seat to congress depending on where they move within the state. Something to watch—especially in Texas.

Unfortunately, many of those who leave those blue states, being their politics with them.

People in red states have to start caring about their state legislatures. Otherwise these extra congressional seats will be drawn in a way that still benefits democrat voters.

Unless they change how they vote, fleeing won’t do them any good.

California is well on the way to becoming a third world tourist destination. Two days at Disneyland, one day at Universal Studios, a couple more walking around San Francisco and Fishermen’s Wharf, then back to Texas.
