Bidens offer to save the day for Dems

It’s no secret that the Democrat Party is imploding, and a recent report claiming Jill and Joe Biden want back in is making the Dem rank-and-file even more panicked.

Joe Biden quietly met with new DNC chairman Ken Martin last month and offered to help in any way he could, NBC reported.

Helping to raise funds and campaigning were offered by Biden, according to the report. Jill Biden is reportedly on board to help in those capacities as well. “She recognizes that serving in the capacities that she served is an honor and it comes with responsibilities to the party. And she’s prepared to help in any way she can,” an NBC source said.

Several recent polls show support for the Democrat Party below 30% since President Trump took office. Even with historically low ratings, Democrat aides and staffers want no part of a Biden revival and bashed him to both NBC and the New York Post.

NBC is reporting that Joe and Jill Biden want to get back into politics to rebuild the Democrat party and brand. Joe recently met with the new DNC chair.

“Joe Biden should enjoy retirement at the beach in Rehoboth,” a former Biden aide told the Post. “No voter wants to hear from him. He is delusional and arrogant to think that he can be a value add to the Democratic Party. We need to move on from the era of Joe Biden and embrace new, younger leadership.”

Another Biden alum said they’d be disastrous for fundraising.

“They can’t raise money either way,” this person said. “I think donors would be more inclined to donate if they [the Bidens] were not relevant.”

Ouch!

“The Bidens are still living in an alternative universe that revolves only around them,” a former senior White House adviser told The Post. “Their irresponsibility, family ego and selfishness put the Democratic Party in this position in the first place … The Biden family — and the disconnected reality that they and their ineffective little circle live in — is responsible for the Trump sequel and the wilderness the Democratic Party finds itself in today,” they said.

Congressional Democrats lost their minds over the NBC report according to their comments to the Post.

“Is this serious?” a former Democrat aide asked. “I mean, it has to be a joke. This is an ‘SNL’ skit.”

Nope, it’s real life.

“Why the f–k would anyone listen to what Joe Biden has to say?” another congressional Dem source asked. “He should stay in retirement with his pardoned family and keep his mouth shut.”

“The best thing Biden could do for the DNC is offer [DNC vice chair] David Hogg a high-paying role at his foundation,” a congressional Democrat aide told the Post.

A major Biden supporter simply asked NBC: “Who’s going to want Joe Biden back in the game?”

Excellent question, and NBC did manage to find at least one proponent of the idea.

“I hope so,” President Trump said when asked about Biden re-entering politics.
