With the endless fearmongering and hyperbolic rhetoric regarding President Donald Trump have come continued threats to the GOP leader’s safety. On Monday, one such example resulted in the arrest of a man in Fort Pierce, Florida whose ranting about Trump being the “Antichrist” included alleged threats that prompted the U.S. Secret Service and local law enforcement to act.

“Fight me naked to the death!” and, “I’m going to cut you up with a chainsaw and put you in acid,” were just some of the statements 42-year-old Kendal Aaron Todd was reported to have issued regarding the president that led the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office to execute a search warrant on him leading to his arrest and a charge of Written Treat to Kill or Do Bodily Harm.

“Because of Donald Trump, every single person in the world is cursed,” contended Todd who added, “Donald Trump is the Antichrist.”

“Donald Trump has personally made business decisions which have hurt so many different reincarnated Jesuses,” added the Florida man who was alleged to have threatened to kill Trump on live television.

In a video posted to Facebook, St. Lucie County Sheriff Richard Del Torro explained, “We had a risk protection for Mr. Todd; we’ve been watching him for several days.”

The sheriff’s office detailed how their SWAT team coordinated with the Secret Service to execute a search warrant on an address in Fort Pierce, Florida that led to his arrest. “The investigation revealed that Todd posted threatening messages on his public social media page, in which he expressed intentions to cause bodily harm to President Donald Trump.”

“He just kept escalating his behavior. He got the attention obviously of the United States Secret Service — and that got our attention,” explained Del Torro.

Speaking with WPBF one neighbor had said of the threats “That’s not cool at all. Not just with the president, that’s with anybody.”

Another had told WPTV, “He acts like a vampire. Because he travels at night…you don’t seem him during the day.”

She added, “A lot of people dislike Trump, but you know, you have to keep that to yourself. You don’t go threaten people’s lives.”

The arrest in Florida came only days after a protest on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. had featured a speaker assuring that if the president wasn’t removed from office, “there will be violence,” while also claiming the administration was an “illegal Trump presidency.”

Since the July 13 assassination attempt of Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, threats to his life have continued including a second attempt in September and the January arrest of a drag queen in Florida faced with a second-degree felony charge of written or electronic threats to kill, do bodily injury, or conduct a mass shooting or an act of terrorism for his alleged threats against the president.

Todd’s bond was set at $500,000.
