“Peaky Blinders” creator Steven Knight is set to develop a film about Oasis as the band gears up for its highly anticipated 2025 reunion tour.

Knight will create and produce the film, which will be directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace. The rock band didn’t indicate a proposed release date. The band’s statement confirmed that no further details would be shared for now, according to Variety, leaving fans with an exhilarating tease and plenty to anticipate.

Magna Studios is producing the Oasis project alongside Sam Bridger and Guy Heeley as producers and Marisa Clifford and Kate Shepherd as executive producers, the outlet reported. Clifford and Shepherd were behind “Beastie Boys Story,” although it’s unclear if this production will mimic the same tone.

The final product will be distributed by Sony Music Vision, and global sales will be handled by Krista Wegener of Sony Music Vision, according to Variety.

Knight’s edgy style brought fans the thrilling, violent crime drama series ,”Peaky Blinders,” starring Cillian Murphy, as well as the recently released Maria Callas biopic, “Maria,” starring Angelina Jolie. Knight also lent his talents to David Cronenberg’s “Eastern Promises,” as well as “Dirty Pretty Things,” and “Locke,” starring Tom Hardy.

The Oasis tour will begin July 4 in Cardiff, Wales, and includes a number of stops before the finale show in November.

They’re slated to perform in England, Scotland, Ireland, and will include North American stops in Toronto as well as Chicago, Pasadena, and New Jersey. The tour includes two dates in Mexico City. South Korea, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil are among the other global tour stops. (RELATED: Brad Paisley Announces World Tour)
