‘Sinking Ship’: New York Giants Legend Amani Toomer Blasts GM Joe Schoen Over Failing Franchise

Well damn … tell us how you really feel, Amani.

The recent front office of the New York Giants has been an utter disaster in NFL free agency, and on top of that, they’ve made a lot of draft mistakes. All of this has been the case since general manager Joe Schoen took over the keys of the franchise.

In fact, things have been so bad for the G-Men as of late that it’s causing negative reactions from Giants legends such as Amani Toomer, a former wide receiver for the team. While talent inks deals with other teams, Toomer hammered the incompetence of Schoen while talking on ESPN Radio, saying it’s causing free agents to not want to be in New York.

Because of the decisions by Schoen, Toomer branded the franchise a “sinking ship” and was quite clear about no longer supporting the general manager.

“They see a sinking ship,” said Toomer.

It’s gotta be painful to be a New York Giants fan in 2025.

Like damn, these guys have been garbage for a minute, moved on from Saquon Barkley in an attempt to make things better, and it just got even worse for them while Saquon goes on to win a Super Bowl ring with their rival Philadelphia Eagles.

I’m a Miami Dolphins fan, so I can’t say much, but still … rough stuff.
