Carney used his victory speech last night to slam President Trump, declaring him a “threat” intent on “attacking Canadian families, workers, and businesses” and claiming that the U.S. “wants our resources, our water, our land, our country… If they succeeded, they would destroy our way of life.” He’s also recently compared Trump to Voldemort, slamming his “ridiculous, insulting” idea of Canada becoming a 51st state.
