Viral Video Captures Touching Moment Between Trump and Young Cancer Survivor DJ Daniel [WATCH]

DJ Daniel, a 13-year-old cancer survivor with a deep passion for law enforcement, had a night to remember when he was named an honorary Secret Service agent during President Donald Trump’s joint address to Congress, as Fox News reported.

Elon Musk Called This Financial News ‘Terrifying’

But the heartwarming moments didn’t end there. Just hours after the event, Daniel paid a visit to the Oval Office to personally thank the 47th President of the United States—with a big hug.

In a video shared on X, Daniel stood beside Trump in the Oval Office and said:

“There’s one more thing I got for ya: a big hug.”

Without hesitation, Trump responded, “OK, good, that’s very nice,” before embracing the young boy. The moment captured the kind of genuine connection that has been sorely lacking in politics for too long.

Trump then turned to Daniel’s father, shaking his hand and asking how he was doing. Reflecting on the previous night’s momentous occasion, Trump remarked, “That was a big evening last night, right? That was a big evening.”

And he wasn’t wrong. The event had social media buzzing, especially after a viral clip showed Daniel’s father lifting him up so he could hug U.S. Secret Service Director Sean Curran, who presented the boy with a customized badge.

Daniel later told Fox & Friends that the entire moment was a complete surprise. “I was not expecting it. Nobody even told us [it was going to happen],” he said, still in awe of the honor.

His story is nothing short of miraculous. Diagnosed with brain cancer in 2018, doctors had only given him five months to live. Yet, Daniel defied the odds, enduring numerous surgeries and continuing to fight.

His resilience caught the attention of law enforcement agencies across the country, and over time, he has been sworn in as an honorary member of multiple police departments.

During his address, Trump acknowledged Daniel’s father’s relentless efforts to fulfill his son’s dream of becoming a police officer. His journey from being a small-town Texas boy to an honorary Secret Service agent has been nothing short of inspiring.

Before leaving the Oval Office, Daniel had one more gift for Trump—a brown cowboy hat from Texas. He later joked on Fox & Friends that he hoped it made it past security. Given how the night went, it’s safe to say it probably did.

Daniel’s touching story has been making waves for years. In 2022, the Tennessee Highway Patrol shared a throwback clip of him being sworn in as an honorary state trooper and Nashville Police Department officer.

Now, he can add honorary U.S. Secret Service special agent to his growing list of achievements.

This kind of story isn’t just heartwarming—it’s a reminder of the power of perseverance, patriotism, and the kindness of a president who actually values real American heroes.
